Back to your prediction

Back to your prediction ends a lesson with the puzzle it opened with, and pupils vote again and say why, so they and the teacher can see what changed.

The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.

How to run it

  1. Show the same puzzle and answers as the start.
  2. Pupils vote again and write one sentence saying why.
  3. Compare with the opening vote and take two reasons.

Why it works

Answering the opening question with the lesson's idea retrieves it, and seeing their own change of mind shows pupils what they learnt.
