Cycle

A cycle shows a process that comes back to where it started, each stage on a loop with arrows round it.

The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.

How to run it

  1. Build it one stage at a time, following the arrows round.
  2. In the pupils' version, the stages' descriptions are left to fill.
  3. Ask what would happen if one stage stopped.

Why it works

A loop shows there is no first or last step, which a numbered list hides. It belongs with sequence: order, not cause.
