Make sense of it
Diamond 9
A diamond 9 gives nine statements to rank against a question, from most to least important, in a diamond of one, two, three, two, one.
The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.
How to run it
- Pairs rank the cards.
- They must agree the top and the bottom.
- Compare two pairs' diamonds and their reasons.
Why it works
Ranking forces a judgement about importance, which takes more thought than listing.
