Flow map

A flow map puts the steps of a process in order, joined by arrows, with the first step given as a model.

The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.

How to run it

  1. Show the first step.
  2. Pupils fill the rest in order.
  3. Show the answers and talk about any step out of place.

Why it works

Drawing a sequence as a chain of steps makes the order visible, and order is often what pupils forget.
