Make sense of it

Imagine it

Imagine it walks pupils through picturing a process or scene in their mind, one prompt at a time, before they say or jot what they saw.

The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.

How to run it

  1. Read each prompt slowly and give time to picture it.
  2. Pupils describe what they pictured to a partner.
  3. They note one thing the picture helped them understand.

Why it works

Building a picture of an idea in the mind makes pupils organise it and link it to what they know.
