Storyboard
A storyboard shows a sequence (a story, a process, a chain of events) as four to six numbered panels, each a picture over a short caption, so pupils can see and retell the order.
The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.
How to run it
- Talk through the panels in order, pointing to each picture.
- Cover a panel and ask what happens there.
- Pupils retell the whole sequence, or explain each step, from the pictures.
Why it works
A picture with each step gives pupils two ways to hold the sequence in mind, and the panels make the order something they can see.
