Venn diagram

A Venn diagram compares two things in overlapping circles: what is only true of each, and what they share in the middle.

The real slide Chalk makes, in the Classroom look. Every word is written for your lesson when you use it.

How to run it

  1. Pupils sort the words into the circles.
  2. Show the answers.
  3. Ask which shared feature surprised them.

Why it works

Sorting into the circles makes pupils decide, for each feature, whether it belongs to one thing or both.
